Will liposuction make my loose skin even worse? Is BodyTite a better option? (photos)

Hi, thank you for your question regarding whether your abdomen will have loose skin after liposuction required for a BBL. In general, BodyTite may tighten skin better than traditional Lipo. Therefore, to maximize your skin contractility after, I would suggest BODYTITE.

However, your pictures show excess abdominal skin and fat. You really need a tummy tuck. Liposuction will make your tummy rolls worse. I don’t think your tummy skin will bounce back after liposuction. Most plastic surgeons would advise that you should go for a solid BBL. That means I would ask your plastic surgeon to harvest as much fat as possible and transfer it to the butt. Recover from that surgery, and then, reevaluate your abdomen. Ideally, the skin contracts, and you are done. However, if your tummy skin does not contract, you may require a tummy tuck. If you go for a small BBL, or a moderate amount of fat transfer, you won’t see much of a result in terms of BBL. Sidenote, next time when. you submit photos, perhaps include some standing so we can. get a better understanding of your stomach projection and loose skin.

Liposuction deflates the skin in the same way that loosing weight deflates the skin. The more fat that is removed the more the skin has to try to contract. If your skin is already loose then it probably won't do a great job of contracting after liposuction. Devices like body tight and Renuvion can do a good job of getting the tissue to contract somewhat more than it would on its own but it doesn't correct loose skin (it just makes it better than it would have been if you didn't use it). Also, sitting is a particularly bad way to evaluate the elasticity of your skin. Everyone will have skin that bunches up when they are sitting

You have too much skin for liposuction. You will need a tummy tuck. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.

Hello; there is looseness in both the lower abdominal skin and the upper abdominal skin fields. After fat is erased; skin laxity will also increase as well. The best solution is; "lipoabdominoplasty." If you do not want a Full Tummy Tuck; Abdominal Vaserlipo, for the upper abdomen; Renuvion J Plasma, also in the lower abdomen; Mini Abdominoplasty can be performed. The extracted fat, can be used; in order to enlarge the hips. I don't think; Bodytite implementation will work alone. After bodytite, relevant fats are removed since; the oils are heated up to 70 °C during the process; as living ability decreases. I do not think; it can be used for hip enlargement.

You need to post a photo with you standing upright--frontal and side views. However, liposuction removes excess fat but does not tighten loose skin.

An in person evaluation or photos with you standing would be helpful. If you already have lax skin then it is possible that liposuction would leave it even more lax. You can consider J Plasma in addition to liposuction if you have good elasticity. You may be a better candidate for a tummy tuck. I have included a video that I hope you find helpful.

We typically make assessments for cosmetic surgery regarding the torso with patients in an upright standing position.
Take a look at how plastic surgeons take before and after pictures to get an idea.
You definitely have enough fat to do a successful fat transfer if you would like.
Finding a plastic surgeon who has enough skill and experience to deliver quality consistent results is another story.
Skin laxity is probably the number one reason patience failed to get quality liposuction outcomes(the only other exception is poor provider selection).
Loose skin looks and feels like fat to most people. Most people do not assess subcutaneous fat layers correctly.
Most people assess by grabbing their skin and pressing it together. When doing this, you’re consolidating both skin and fat and this makes the layer feel thicker than it is.
The correct way to assess subcutaneous fat is to put the skin under tension then very gently press against the skin until you feel the underlying muscle wall.
This requires a very light touch and you can do this on different parts of your body to feel the variation in fat thickness and different areas.
You can expect well done Liposuction to remove 50 to 75% of that subcutaneous fat layer.
Skin laxity Can cause to simply not look good.
The skin can drape the body in a different manner because of the placement of connective tissue that anchors the skin to the underlying muscle wall.
In other words results simply don’t look great on individuals who have skin laxity or a loss of skin elasticity.
The loss of skin elasticity is probably even more important than skin laxity.
In other words, older individuals tend to not get quality level section results the way we can deliver in young individuals.
to get a tight flat abdomen a full tummy tuck is probably the better procedure.
I recognize a lot of people don’t want a tummy tuck, but don’t expect Liposuction to deliver tummy tuck results and individuals who who are not good candidates for Liposuction.
Some improvements can usually be had and whether those improvements justify having the procedure varies substantially from one person to another.
The front of the abdomen is highly impacted by previous pregnancies and pregnancy related changes. Do not include fat distribution.
Pregnancy related changes are related to skin, laxity and muscle separation. Both of these variables are best treated with a full tummy tuck.
On top of this, the number of plastic certain of truly mastered, Liposuction is quite small.
In reality, the substantial number of plastic surgeons with excellent credentials, good reputations, and years of experience simply aren’t very good at Liposuction.
Most plastic surgeons think they’re far better at Liposuction than they actually are.
Finding someone who is mastered the procedure, which includes the ability to make an accurate assessment and deliver predictable outcomes based on each unique, patient’s candidacy may be quite difficult.
To find the right provider typically requires having numerous consultations and carefully vetting providers during those consultations.
Generally speaking individuals who have skin laxity should recognize that their candidacy for the procedure it’s far less than those who have tight skin.
Liposuction is not a good procedure for skin laxity.
Any agent treatment like Renuvion, a.k.a. plasma, or bodytite will not add a noticeable difference.
There is no treatment for skin, laxity other than direct surgical, excision with procedures, like tummy tuck, breast, lift, facelift, and arm lift.
