This is related to a Round 2 BBL. I already had consultations with several board certified plastic surgeons. Some of them say it's ok to do liposuction of the inner thighs, anterior thighs and knees. Others say I should only lipo the inner thighs because I will get loose skin and more visible cellulite if I get lipo of anterior thighs and knees. Who am I supposed to trust as a patient?
Answer: Considering options It is difficult to say the likelihood that you will have loose skin and increased cellulite from further liposuction without knowing the elasticity of your skin, how much fat will be harvested, and your goals for surgery. You do run the risk of loose skin and cellulite with these procedures. Adding J Plasma may help with tighten the skin. Since you mentioned you have seen several surgeons I encourage you to review their credentials, before/after photos, and consider with whom you feel most comfortable.

Answer: Liposuction Dear Mariakimlopez, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Will liposuction of anterior thighs and knees cause loose skin and more visible cellulite? Liposuction is a surgical procedure that aims to remove excess fat from specific areas of the body. While it can be effective in contouring and reshaping the treated areas, there are certain factors to consider, including the possibility of loose skin and changes in cellulite appearance. 1.) Loose Skin: Liposuction involves the removal of fat deposits, and in some cases, this can lead to a reduction in skin elasticity. If a significant amount of fat is removed and the skin doesn't contract properly, it can result in loose or sagging skin. The likelihood of loose skin after liposuction depends on various factors including the patient's age, genetics, the amount of fat removed, and the elasticity of their skin. Younger individuals with good skin elasticity might experience less loose skin compared to older individuals or those with poor skin elasticity. 2.) Cellulite: Cellulite is the dimpled appearance of the skin caused by underlying fat deposits pushing against connective tissue. Liposuction is primarily intended to remove deeper fat deposits, and it may not necessarily have a significant impact on cellulite appearance. In some cases, liposuction could potentially worsen the appearance of cellulite by creating irregularities in the fat distribution beneath the skin. It's important to note that while liposuction can produce positive aesthetic outcomes, it also has limitations and potential risks. Consultation with a skilled plastic surgeon or a qualified medical professional is crucial before deciding on any cosmetic procedure. They can assess your individual situation, discuss your goals, and provide personalized recommendations based on your anatomy, skin quality, and expectations. It's also important to have realistic expectations about the potential outcomes of the procedure, including the possibility of loose skin and changes in cellulite appearance.
