Was wondering what king of faja I should purchase? The typical lipo 360 Fajas seem to be mid thigh and no compression for under the arm (axilla). Do I need compression for that area? Should i be looking for a faja that goes all the way to the knee with sleeves ? Or is that overkill. Recovery will be in summer time so worried about what kind of clothes I’ll be able to wear

Answer: Marena garments We use Marena Garments in our office. They have ones that come up under the armpit which might be enough so you don’t have to have the arm compression garment as well. I would ask your Plastic Surgeon if you would need the arm compression garment.

Answer: Traveling for surgery Plastic surgeons of the United States typically supply compression garments for their patients. If they don’t they will give you instructions on what compression garbages to obtain. I do not recommend patients travel long distances to have elective surgical procedures. Patients seem to not appreciate the importance of having in person consultations, the number of people who have issues with the results and need revisions and the complications actually do happen. Stay local for elective surgical procedures and have in person consultations when selecting a provider. During consultations postoperative instructions will or at least should be reviewed.
