My upper lip is thinner on the right than the left making my mouth look wonky. There is more fat under the skin area between my nose and upper lip on my left compared to my right side. If I got lip filler in my upper right lip would it go fuller like the left side? Or do I need to fill the area under my skin on the right side? My left cheek feels more fuller with muscle than my right even though I try to chew both sides.
Answer: Lip filler for lip assymentry Lip fillers, like Versa Lips or Restylane Kyss are great to adjust for lip asymmetry, especially when the distance between the upper lip and nose is nice and short, which yours appears to be. I think you'll get great results. In cases, when the distance between the upper lip and nose is longer, I would suggest looking into a lip lift augmentation procedure. Hope this helps!

Answer: It can definitively help! It is completely normal for us to have asymmetry on our faces, no-one has one side of the face completely equal to the other side. Your physician has to check if the asymmetry is caused by an orthodontic problem. If it is, its better at the long run to treat that than to treat the consequences, which in your case is the asymmetry. If there is no orthodontic problem, it is completely possible to treat your cheek area with fillers. As for your lip, hyaluronic acid fillers can help you achieve that symmetrical look that you want.

Answer: Lip filler, Volbella, Kysse, Restylane, dermal filler, cheek filler, symmetry, threads, lift, Juvederm You would get a nice improvement in the tubercles and overall shape of the lips, along with the philtrum (above the lip) with lip fillers. Volbella, Restylane, and Juvederm are good to create a symmetrical lip. NovaThreads can be used to improve lift and shape. I would highly recommend getting a formal evaluation with and treatment from a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and expert in facial sculpting. Technique is the key to a successful lip augmentation with fillers, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. An experienced physician will be able to determine which filler, how much filler, and which technique will give you the subtle result you're looking for. Volume and contouring of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. Botox and radiofrequency can help slim and contour the jawline. Liposuction can help slim the face. Ultherapy, J Plasma and radiofrequency treatments can provide skin tightening and lift. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Filler, consider lip lift The first thought about your problem is filler, in skilfull hands this asymmetry can be significantly corrected with precise injection of filler. However, in a long run, you may consider lip lift; it is not that simple procedure in your case, so look for someone who has significant experience with lip lifts and good reviews. Good luck.

Answer: Medialized external corner lip lift Temporary injectable fillers only address volume and not shape. You would be a good candidate for a medialized external corner lip lift (and a 3D lip lift). This surgery not only elevates the corners of the mouth, but increases the red lip visible on either end of the upper lip. It also decreases any displeasing downward slope the upper lip takes as measured from its center. In other words, it is quite powerful in its ability to change the shape of the upper lip, giving unprecedented control to the surgeon. I hope this helps, best of luck !
