Hi, I had a breast argumentation in 2017 and after 2 months I had cc in the right breast. In 2019 I had a revision surgery, no more cc. But my right breast now hangs lower and you can feel the implant a the bottom, but you can’t feel it on my other breast. My nipple is also now larger than the other. If I was to have a 3rd surgery would they be able to fix those problems or should I just remove them? And will they go back to the same size?
Answer: Breast implant revision Hi, photos would help answer this question, but in principle the size of the nipple areola complex and its height can be adjusted with surgery. If the breast appears to droop more on one side than the other, you may require an adjustment of the skin envelope of the breast at the same time as the implant. Having the implants removed entirely with an uplift procedure performed at the same time may also be an option that you wish to consider.

Answer: Implants Photos would be very helpful. Hanging breast can be fixed with a lift and an areola can be made smaller. If you remove your implants, you will still have hanging breast tissue, but more will hang, and a larger areola. Your skin and breast tissue has been stretched and thinned by implants so you will not return to your initial look. Plus, you are older now and have aged some.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear siobhan_lam, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Issues after breast augmentation. To make an assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If individuals have had more than one operation than they should include before, and after pictures of each of the procedures. Without seeing pictures, we can’t begin to make an assessment. There are three variables to determine the outcome of breast augmentation surgery. The first is the patient candidacy for the procedure in the first place. The second variable is the selection of implants in regards to size shape and type. The third variable is the surgeons ability to place the implant in the anatomically correct position. I recommend you follow up with your provider or schedule in person second opinion consultations with other plastic surgeons in your community. For second opinion, consultations come prepared to bring with you a complete set of proper before and after pictures and copies of your previous operative reports. These can be obtained from your current provider by requesting them. Breast augmentation can change what the breast looks like after explantation.Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD.
