Hello, and thank you for your question regarding your Fleur De Lis Tummy Tuck results six months post-op. By examining your photos, it appears you have excess skin hanging over your right hip. There also appears to be asymmetry over the horizontal aspect of your tummy tuck. To fix this, I would recommend a revision tummy tuck. I would excise the previous scar, dissect up the abdomen to free out any uneven planes, then reapproximate and get an even resection out. The belly button could also be revised at this time. I do not think time will improve how the right side settles. I hope this answers your question. I've performed hundreds, maybe thousands of revisions on tummy tucks, arm lifts, breast lifts, you name it. I am confident this can be fixed and you could be satisfied with your revision results. I wish you the best of luck. If you have any more questions regarding a tummy tuck, lower body lift, 360 circumferential lower body lift, belt lipectomy, belt abdominoplasty, or belt dermolipectomy please contact my office. Since the body lift is a big procedure, please seek an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon with significant experience performing the lower body lift. Do your research. Make sure they have performed at least 100 tummy tuck or circumferential lower body lift surgeries and have the before and after pictures to prove it. Carefully examine their before and after pictures and check their reviews on RealSelf. If you cannot find an experienced, tummy tuck or lower body lift surgeon in your neighborhood, consider traveling out of state if you must. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen.
