I had a tummy tuck , renuvion lipo 360 , fat transfer, about two years ago . I am not happy with my results. My skin wrinkles and hangs when I bend over . I still have banana rolls after 2 sessions of lipo renuvion . I have all theses scars and less than desirable results . I am looking for revision but alln told is not is normal to have skin hang and that the tolls are due to loose skin and not fat . I am posting my before and after . I am five pounds lighter than when I went under .
Answer: Results A little skin laxity wouldn't be unexpected when seated or bending over, especially if there was loose skin prior. A revision to take up some of the excess skin may help. For the back it appears a bra line/back lift would give you more of the results you are looking for. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation.

Answer: Wrinkling skin Dear Mocha Mammi, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Postoperative TT results Was your abdomen very tight directly after the abdominoplasty? It is not uncommon for post TT patients to have "stretch back"...loosening of the anterior abdominal skin after an abdominoplasty. This is especially true in patients with severe striae of the anterior abdomen. The back creases are also common post liposuction in patients who's skin does not contract as firmly. Dr. Taranow

Answer: Assessing the outcome of a procedure To make an assessment on the outcome of a procedure we always need to see proper before and after pictures. We can’t make the assessment based on looking at your results alone. we need to see correctly taken before and after pictures. If you don’t have a proper before and after pictures then ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. Your before pictures will explain if you were a good candidate for the procedure. In regards to your abdomen there are four variables that determine what the abdomen looks like. The sort of domino skin laxity, excess subcutaneous fat, muscle separation from previous pregnancies an excess visceral fat. If your abdomen is still bulging after a tummy tuck then you must likely have significant excess visceral fat that’s causing bulging of your abdomen. Weight loss is the only way to reduce that. Individuals with access visceral fat can often be identified on preoperative pictures and it should’ve been addressed during a proper consultation. Individuals who have excess visceral fat should understand or be told they will not have a flat abdomen after a tummy tuck unless they lose enough weight to reduce excess visceral fat. Everyone is going to have skin laxity of their abdomen when they flexed her hips in a sitting position. It’s not possible to have a tight skin of your abdomen when you flex your hips. if your skin was tight and flat with your hips flexed you wouldn’t be able to stand up. All people get folds on their lower abdomen when they sit. This is normal. The banana role is a skinfold that does not respond well to Liposuction. My personal view of Renuvion or J plasma is that it does not deliver any skin tightening. I purchased the device and used it for one year but neither I nor any of my patients saw any significant skin tightening whatsoever and I have since gotten rid of the device and I do not believe that it delivers anything even close to what the manufacturer claims. Providers will give BS stories of why it didn’t work in your case but the truth is it doesn’t tighten skin. Delivering consistent quality Liposuction results including the ability to make accurate assessment and accurate predict exactly what the procedure can and cannot accomplish for each individual person and then Shelby proper before and after pictures that are accurate to what the procedure can and cannot deliver is more difficult than most people believe. The number of providers who can do liposuction well on a consistent basis including the ability to accurately predict exactly what each person‘s results will look like is relatively rare and few. You’ve listed a multitude of issues and each one has its own explanation. The combination of significant skin laxity of your back and the visceral fat for your abdomen will inherently limit the potential outcome of surgical intervention using the procedures you had. In the end there are only two variables that matter when it comes to cosmetic surgery outcomes. The first is patient candidacy and the second is the scale of the surgeon. The majority of patients seeking cosmetic surgery are not perfect or great candidates. Most people tend to be average candidates and because of that the most that they can expect is an average result. Every once in a while somebody walks in who is a perfect candidate. If that person also finds a very talented surgeon and they will have an exceptional outcome. In reality most plastic surgeons are not exceptional and most patients are not exceptional candidates. The great majority are average and get average results. To get an accurate assessment on the outcome of your procedure I recommend having a few in person a second opinion consultations with other local board-certified plastic surgeons in your community. Recognize that liposuction results vary more than any other plastic surgery procedure and the number of plastic surgeons were truly excellent at Liposuction is quite limited. Most plastic surgeons think they’re far better at Liposuction than they actually are. To get the most out of it in second opinion consultation come prepared to bringing with you all before and after pictures and a copy of your operative report. These are available from your previous surgeons office if you ask for them. With limited information or ability to make an assessment on the outcome of your procedure is also inherently limited. You may or may not have an issue it with visceral fat but my best guess is that is contributing to some degree. this is based on the first picture you showed. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
