I had my 1st surgery 12 years ago with donut lift and 300cc high prof implants. Now one of the implants seems to come out from the original place and moving around. My plan is to change them for modarate 250cc and do a donut lift. Atm the pen is only falling down from under the right breast but not from under the left one :) can I still go with a donut lift?
Answer: Implant revision surgery with breast lift Thank you for your question and good quality images. Based on these, and that you wish to reduce the projection and volume of your implant, I think you would get a better result with a vertical scar or inverted T uplift technique. A periareolar technique will only allow adjustment of the skin envelope and not the gland, which will lead to recurrence of your current issue. I would advise keeping the breast tissue in the lower pole and using it to support your new implants, whilst lifting the nipple into a more pleasing position in relation to your implants.

Answer: Lift You probably can do the doughnut lift, but might have a better shape with the vertical lift. The doughnut lift is limited in what shaping it can do.

Answer: Donut breast lift Dear Cool286148, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity.
