Do I have a pollybeak?

The fullness just above your tip could be a pollybeak - it's hard to tell without an exam. That occurs when there is a combination of excess dorsal septum with a tip that's not supported well. Also your tip looks a bit wide too, all of which could be improved with revision rhinoplasty. Be sure to see an expert rhinoplasty surgeon for consultation.

I'm not sure that this is a true polybeak. A pollybeak is when there is excessive dorsal septal cartilage left over that can cause a beakish appearance to the nasal tip. You have some rounding of your supratip, however, if this is soft to the touch, it may simply be some excessive scar tissue. If that is the case, several several rounds of dilute Kenalog may be helpful. Please bring this to the attention of your surgeon. Thank you for your question and I hope this is helpful. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you have a slight pollybeak, but more importantly, an overly projected and drooping tip. You will benefit from nasal tip deprojection during your revision in order to decrease the entire length of the tip complex and slightly elevate your tip and refine your tip. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
