I consulted a plastic surgeon yesterday for a breast lift with implants and i was shocked to learn that he could not add implants to the lift all at once. He said he had to lift the breast first and then 1 1/2 years later he could then add an implant because he said the mammal gland was too diisconected. Is this true

Answer: Bellesoma Method Many surgeons are reluctant to do breast lift with implants the reason being the implants add weight and can damage to effect of the lift. That is why some surgeons do them in 2 stages usually 6 months apart. Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs or told us your goal. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
