5 month post op septorhinoplasty and worried about polly beak deformity (Photo)

Hi there, My last post was about my worries regarding having a polybeak deformity. Ive attached further pictures, with different angles and with me smiling. My surgeon is not concerned, but for me it does not look right. Im 5 months post op and I know that with my thick skin its stilll pretty early in the recovery process but Im concerned.

Hi there! Thanks for your photos and comment. It is early - especially if you have thick skin. Steroid injections and taping over the supratip can help combat a potential pollybeak deformity. Have those been tried? If they haven't, I'd speak with your surgeon to see what can be done.

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photo you have hanging columella and that is the cause of the droopy tip. However, it is too soon to decide anything because 5 months is not enough to make a decision about it. It would be more convenient to make evaluation after 1 year. Best Regards!
