Crooked columella after septoplasty. Can this be corrected? (Photo)

Hello, I had a septoplasty 4 months ago. In general, result is good, improved breathing, but what I found disturbing is that my columella is not straight as I supposed it would be after this procedure it is tilted to right. I had subluxation of the nasal septum, closed procedure was used to correct this deformity. Can my tip and columella be corrected if I undergo some kind od revision rhinoplasty?

Hello! Thank you for your question.As far as I can see from your photo you have still deviated septum. You might have a breathing issue due to this deviation. For get rid of this image and gain more elegant, better functional nose I recommend you revision rhinoplasty surgery. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

The slight tilt of your Columella seen on the base view of your nose is not seen on front view. Since this is very slight and since you appear to have a pleasant nasal appearance, it may be best to live with this. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
