Hi, I'm thinking about getting HA fillers in the nasal root. My nose is reasonably small and straight but there is a prominent dip between the bridge and forehead which I would really like to make more smoother. Is it a good idea to get fillers there and do the fillers go very deep? I'm worried as articles seem to say there are higher risks associated with the nasal area. Thanks.
Answer: Nonsurgical Nose Jobs With Injectable Volumizing Fillers Works Well For Camouflaging Nasal Bridge (Root) Dips & Bumps I have personally been performing nonsurgical nose jobs using volumizing fillers for over two decades, since the early days using Radiesse. Back then, treating nasal bumps, humps and dips was the only indication for nasal fillers. Today, most of use hyaluronic acid-based fillers and the indications for nonsurgical nose jobs has greatly expanded to lifting droopy nasal tips, filling nasal tip clefts, improving hanging columellas, smoothing bumps along the spine of the nose left following aggressive surgical rhinoplasty, and even achieving greater symmetry between the sides of the nose. So, the short answer to your question is that smoothing the prominent dip with fillers is perfectly acceptable and quite safe, since the midline of the nose is the safest area of the nose vis-a-vis the blood vessel problems you have read about. You should make sure, however, that you are consulting with a board certified aesthetic physician with experience and expertise in nonsurgical nose jobs and be sure to ask to see his/her personal befores and afters before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.

Answer: Fillers are regularly used to camouflage a small dorsal hump. You're small dorsal hump may indeed be suited for a non-surgical nose job. In our practice, we prefer microdroplet Silikon 1000 injections for permanent results. Thank you for your question! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Safety of non-surgical rhinoplasty It is safe to use fillers here, though I would only have it done by a surgeon that is skilled at a surgical rhinoplasty, as the nose is a sensitive/risky area to have fillers injected in general. The fillers do go deep here, as the filler should get placed below the muscle to mimic bone rather than a large muscle.

Answer: Is it safe to have fillers in the nasal root not to worry. That area is the safest in the nose to inject. There are no blood vessels in the midline of the nose and the area is easy to fill.
