Wondering if it spreads evenly or if certain parts of my face will "freeze" faster than others?

Hello, and thank you for your question. We always advise our patients that it can take up to 2 weeks to achieve the full results of Dysport. We also inform them to follow up with their provider no sooner than 2 weeks. If you are still unsatisfied with your results after 2 weeks, you may return to your doctor or provider for further advice and care. You may be given an extra small dose of Dysport on your mid-forehead to achieve better symmetry. I highly recommend only seeking treatments from a reputable, experienced injector. Such experts can select the most appropriate product for your needs, select the right dilution of that product, determine the right dosage to inject, know the ideal placement of injections for a natural-looking appearance, and they would be able to recognize and deal with complications that might arise.

The effects of Dysport are dependent upon the number of units injected and the location of the injection. The product is in full effect after 14 days. If you have areas of concern after that time you can return to your injector for any needed touch up.

Hello and thank you for your question. It usually takes about 5 days to see the results from Dysport.  It is best to wait a full week to be sure, and if you are still unhappy, see your injector for a follow up treatment. It is a quick an easy fix to soften over-arched eyebrows.  Best of luck. 

I normally do tell my patients to wait 2 weeks to see the results from a Dysport treatment, but many people will begin to see results after several days.  I would suggest waiting 2 weeks from the time of your treatment and then, if you feel there is still an issue with your brows, I would contact the physician who treated you so that you can be evaluated in person.  If needed, it is likely a minor touch up treatment could help.  

Thank you for your question. This is difficult to answer without pictures and needs an in-person evaluation, Botox results last up to 3-4 months and can be softened with venus legacy and thermage treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
