Necrosis? Or normal bruising pattern?

This looks like normal swelling and bruising. I would suggest waiting 2 weeks for healing.  You may need more filler on your lower lip, as the upper lip should be a bit smaller than the upper.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs, it appears that you will have a very nice lip augmentation result!  You are not demonstrating any signs of necrosis but rather some subtle bruising as a result of your Juvederm placement.  This should improve daily over the next 1-2 weeks.  Hope that this helps. 

Thank you for your question and for sharing your postprocedure photographs.  Sorry that you are having some concerns about your postprocedure appearance.  Please keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks to see your final result.  Some swelling and bruising after filler injection is normal, especially in the lips.  Icing can help for up to 48 hours postprocedure.  Arnica can also help to minimize postprocedure swelling and bruising.  My best advice would be to give it a full 2 weeks to allow for normal postprocedure swelling and bruising to resolve and to see your final result.  At that point, if you continue to have any concerns, please contact your injector for an in-person reevaluation in order to best address your concerns and to determine the best course of action.  Best wishes!

NO NECROSIS IS SEEN! You are a little over reactive. Did not you injector explain the post injection possible appearances? If not I would complain to her! 

Nice job, great lips. Will look even better once the bruising and swelling subsides, this is bruising and not necrosis. With necrosis the skin looks different, often pustules before the colour changes, associated with a significant amount of pain. This appears to be normal bruising to my eye. Remember, the lips are quite vascular. I would only recommend careful observation to be sure that the situation does not worsen.    You should always be sure that your physician has Hyaluronidase at site if you should run into the unfortunate occurrence of necrosis.
