Is this white patch normal after Lip fillers? (photo)

I had a juvederm lip augmentation around 4 hours ago. Is this white patch a normal part of the swelling process or something I should be concerned about?

You do have a great deal of swelling and I would definitely return to your treating physician for examination.  You may need steroids to decrease the inflammation and perhaps Vitrase if the swelling doesn't go down.  Best, Dr. Green

It appears that the lips were injected with either Restylane or Juvederm.  The photos may also have been touched up as well.  Best, Dr. Green
