Answer: Vaginal rejuvenation after a 4th degree tear 4th degree tears leave significant scar tissue, but this poses no problem in the performance of vaginal rejuvenation in the hands of an experienced vaginal surgeon. You would need to have a full pelvic evaluation prior to surgery to make sure that you don't have other pelvic floor damage which would need to treated at the same time.

Answer: Vaginal Rejuvenation after 4th degree tear Short answer? YES! You can absolutely have a vaginal rejuvenation or vaginoplasty surgery to increase tightness and in turn sexual gratification regardless of any tearing. In order to definitively answer a question for each patient, it is recommended to have a physical exam. At times, I've had patients undergo excision of vaginal scar tissue in addition to their Vaginal Rejuvenation surgery.Hope this helps!
