Vaginal rejuvenation cost

There is a wide range for the average cost of vaginal rejuvenation procedures so it is hard to give you an appropriate range. For example, pricing depends on factors such as non-surgical laser procedures vs surgery, location of the surgery, extent of work needed, years of experience of the surgeon, etc.

I recommend you consult in person with a couple of board certified plastic surgeons so they can examine you and give you a precise price estimate for what you need done. This will give you the best idea of what to expect in terms of price. Best of luck!

Insurance will not pay for rejuvenation surgery such as laxity or for appearance. They may cover surgery for urinary leakage associated with advanced cystoceles, rectoceles and vaginal prolapse. Candidates of #VaginalRejuvenation or Vaginoplasty surgery are women who desire a more youthful appearance and function of the vulva and vaginal area. For some women, the effects of childbirth, aging, trauma, and/or genetics, causes their vaginal tissue and muscles to become stretched, which results in loss of strength and tone in the vaginal area. This can lead to unsatisfying intimate contact and discomfort.
These surgeries are best performed by carefully selected Plastic Surgeons or Gynecologists. As this is not a very common procedure it is important that you choose a specialist who has significant experience in these procedures to get the best result with the least number of complications. Costs vary depending on if the surgery is done in the office, outpatient surgery center, the experience of the surgeon, type of anesthesia (local, IV, or general anesthesia, and if other procedures such as correction of a cystocele, rectocele, labiaplasty, or other conditions and also varies geographically. In general the surgery will run from $6000 to $15,000.
Intended ResultThe surgical procedure, Vaginoplasty, in many cases, can increase friction during intercourse, giving women more control of vaginal muscles, increasing sexual satisfaction, while also creating a more attractive and appealing appearance to the vaginal area.

What is the cost for vaginal rejuvenation?

depending on what is done.. the costs for non surgical treatments can run 3000-5000.
the treatment may be surgical or laser

This may take more than one treatment, and there may be recommended follow up maintenance over time to keep the results at the desired point.

How much does it cost for vaginal rejuvenation? Does medicare or medicaid cover the proceedure?

The cost of the procedure really varies from doctor to doctor, and also on the complexity of what is done. The procedure is a cosmetic and elective surgery, and insurance does not cover these cases. The cost of the procedure ranges anywhere from 3-6,000 and in some cases more as mentioned above.

Vaginal rejuvenation?

In my experience, this procedure is typically not covered by health insurance. That being said, the term “vaginal rejuvenation” is quite broad and might include variety of different procedures, including a labiaplasty.Best of luck.

Cost for vaginal rejuvenation

Vaginal rejuvenation is considered a cosmetic procedure. The Mona Lisa Touch, which is used by our office, is currently not covered by insurance or Medicare/Medicaid, although this could change in the future. Our office currently offers Care Credit, which can allow you to enter into a payment plan. Each Mona Lisa Touch procedure costs $750 and three treatments are recommended, spaced 6 weeks apart.

Cost for vaginal rejuvenation?

Your story and concerns are in good company with almost ever other patient that undergoes vaginal rejuvenation and experiences an enormous boost in (sexual) self-confidence thereafter.
Vaginal Rejuvenation (a.k.a. vaginoplasty) is performed to reconstruct (more or less tighten) the vaginal vault most commonly following natural vaginal birth. Again, like most other surgery, the experience of and “attention to detail” (a.k.a. compulsiveness) by the surgeon is the most important element to achieving a good result. Although there is some merit to Kegal exercises, many patients with laxity after natural vaginal birth fail to obtain sufficient tightening. For these patients, vaginoplasty, tightening of the vaginal vault muscles from the introits (opening) up to the cervix is typically the best solution. The procedure is commonly done on an outpatient basis in about an hour under either deep intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. Recovery is gradual but probably the worst for the first 4-5 days until swelling starts to reside then patients feel better each day thereafter. Sexual activity is usually refrained for about 6 weeks. In a study I was involved in back in 2009, 87% of vaginoplasty patients were satisfied with their results and had an improved sexual experience post-operatively. Typical (all inclusive) fee at my office/surgery center is $8500.  Unless you have an associated functional problem such as urinary incontinence, Medicare and Medicaid will not cover this. Glad to help.

Vaginal Rejuvenation & Insurance Coverage

Vaginal rejuvenation is cosmetic surgery. Medical insurance doesn't cover cosmetic surgery. However, there are many finance companies which offer payment plans for these procedures. Most surgeons offer a variety of plans.

Vaginal Rejuvenation

Hi, vaginal rejuvenation can mean many things and therefore the cost varies.  It can be as simple as tightening the vaginal walls from the inside out to improve sexual pleasure.  It can also include injecting the labia majora with fat or PRP to improve the aging look.  It may also include trimming excess exterior tissue such as the labia minora.   The cost can be anywhere from $3500-$6000 in our office. You are welcome to come in for a consultation to discuss what is bothering you.  Each case is evaluated on an individual basis.  All women have different needs and it is important to figure out what the reasons are for you seeking surgery.   Generally speaking, insurances do not cover a surgery they deem cosmetic.
