I am 2 years post op from breast augmentation. I am 5’10 160 lbs. I have 450 srf implants. I am wanting to go larger but am wondering if I should also have a lift. My surgeon suggested I could go up to 560-605 without a lift but told me my nipples would be a little lower. This has me questioning if I should go for the lift. I am really not wanting the scars from a lift.

determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

Good morning,
Going up 100cc will just be enough to see a difference, so you may want to go a little larger. You actually probably wouldn't need any new bras if you only go up 100cc- 200cc is more like a cup size. The lift is an option- and I would measure your chest to see if a donut mastopexy might be a good option for you. I would also perform the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique, which lifts and supports your implants which will give you better cleavage and upper pole fullness. honestly just swapping out 450 for 560 isn't going to do much.

I would suggest not going larger since they will be heavy on your neck and shoulders, thin your tissue even more, and sag over time.
