When is seroma gonna stop? (Photo)

Question

Had breast implants put in 5 months ago. 3 months after surgery had to get an internal stitch removed cause the body was rejecting it. After that my incision has never stopped oozing. The breast got very inflamed all over but there is no infection. Doctor put me on Prednisone and antibiotics and inflammation has healed but the wound is still oozing. No pain, fever or warmness. It's been draining around 5 ml a day for 10 days but I want to know if it's actually gonna stop eventually :(

Sorry to read that you are experiencing ongoing problems after surgery. This doesn’t appear to be a seroma. Its likely to be a small wound breakdown caused by an internal suture which is causing irritation. Your surgeon is in the best position to guide you on whether intervention is required to resolve the issue.

This is not exactly a seroma. Why you have drainage is unclear and probably is something only your plastic surgeon can answer. The appearance of your wound is something we see when there is something a little deeper still causing a problem such as perhaps another stitch. I would continue to return to your plastic surgeon until you solve this problem.
