Karen Quigley, MD

I am one month post op from a breast lift by Dr. Quigley and I’m very pleased with the results. I asked her to make my breast proportionate with my body because I wasn’t sure of the cup size and she did just that. My incision lines are barely noticeable. My husband grinned from ear to ear after showing him my progress. He was nervous because he’s never wanted me to undergo plastic surgery. She was also kind enough to revise some unfavorable lipo scars from a less qualified provider during my breast surgery which are also healing very nicely. Dr. Quigley is a true professional, very astute and kind. As a nurse, I am extremely comfortable in her care and confident that I’m in good hands.

Dr. Quigley came highly recommended. She exceeded my expectations. I'm a very pleased with the outcome of my TT. Dr. Quigley was professional and courteous . She addressed all of my concerns. I'm about two weeks post OP and my tummy looks great. I still have some swelling but that is to be expected. I only wish I had done this sooner.

Dr Quigley was excellent before and after surgery. I had a breast reduction and she was very encouraging and positive about how I wanted to feel better about my body after having 4 children. She came out after the surgery and spoke to my husband in the waiting room about my status (which was good! ) which put his mind at ease. Dr Quigley called the night I got home following the surgery to check on me ! On the second recovery day I was suspicious about a new pain behind my knee fearing a DVT , she had me come in on her lunch break the same day and checked it out. It was nothing but this reassured me I was doing well. I had a few calls to Dr Quigleys nurse Leslie for new pain to my breasts and questions about exercising which she was quick to call the day of and very patient with my crazy questions!!! I’m very pleased with the results at 2 1/2 weeks out and excited to keep seeing all my progress to my beautiful SMALL and PERKY boobs!!

47 yrs old two kids 1 c-section left my stomach with much to be desired. I work out but my stomach won’t respond due to my issues. Got the courage to do this when my sister got her TT one year ago. She looks great. I got my TT and inner thigh lipo 6 days ago. I finally took a peek today and I am very pleased...even with the swelling! Dr. Quigley is awesome. I know I have a way to go but no matter what’s ahead, this was so worth it. I love my tummy. It’s like I turned back the hand of time.

I'm 6 weeks post -op. I still have swelling (more on my right side) which is normal. I had no fluid. Will take up to 6 months to go completely away. Even with the swelling, I'm so pleased. With my mommy belly gone, I went from a size 6 to a size 4. Had to buy new clothes. Good problems ya'll! Been using cocoa butter on my scars. Will now be using hydrocortisone cream to aid healing and fading at night. I'm back in the gym. No sit ups or crunches yet! Can't wait to see the end results.

Still happy but I am still anxious for the swelling to GO AWAY. Wow...it can really really take time. Still less than 3 months so I guess I just need to have patience. Everyone is different and recovers at different speeds. My mind knows this! I am working out still and more active than ever. I even wear spandex to the gym ya'll!

Can't believe it's almost 5 months. I'm still pleased. I'm a little puffy at the bottom but my belly is BEAUTIFUL compared to before. My hubby loves my tummy but is jealous at the same time. Says I turned the clock back. I did...LOL. Thanks to Dr Quigley. I go back for my 6 month check up in January. Will post pics then. You will never regret investing in yourself!

Professional and experienced. Very pleased with breast reduction I had done. She has years of experience as she did my cousins’ reductions over a decade ago. Had no issues with or after surgery, and she called to check on me personally the evening after surgery. Although I felt like she may not have been the most personable doctor, she did go the extra step to please me. Only negative I have is breasts are about a half size bigger than what I requested.. She refused to make them smaller saying my frame was just too large, but overall I’m happy with the final result.

My nurse practitioner recommended me to Dr. Quigley. I love referrals especially from doctors. I had my consultations with very few questions because I didn't know what to ask.
So I'm Here on this forum now that I've received approval from
Insurance with no hesitation.

I started gaining weight in late 2015 that seemed to have landed in my arms and breast. With numbness, headaches and back pain. I'm so excited to have the same size breasts, normal aerole

I'm going to use this forum to track my thoughts and progress since reading so many other comments. I'm hoping to help someone just as I've been helped. I can't wait to get these babes reduced. Does anyone have any tried products that help with scarring?

I'm very nervous. I went into the office to my deductible and see before and after pictures that I didn't ask for on consultation. I guess what has me so nervous is the doctor doesn't show any emotions. It's like this what it is and that is it with her. I keep hearing she is the best and will be praying to his trust the process. I just don't want to look bad with my clothes off. I mean my boobs are big but I'm comfortable with the skin I'm in now and want to keep it that way. In deep prayer the next few days.

I'm so happy and feel great. 3 pounds were taking off each side. I look to be smaller than a C, seems like a b cup to me. Because so much was taking out she had me stay overnight in the hospital which I was happy about. I haven't had a chance to see my nipples yet. My doctor just changed my pads, and I was so happy I could FEEL the sensation on my nipples. I'm rambling a bit but I'm in little to no pain at the moment. I've had morphine all night every 10 minutes and it's been great.

..discharged today and feeling great. I went to target for a sports bra and tried on a dress! To my surprise, I was able to get a size smaller because of my boobs! God is so good. A couple of things I've noticed: 1- my skin is soooo oily 2- my stomach has swollen up on me since I had breakfast and lunch and 3- my throat is super sore and has been since I got out of surgery. Outside of the minor, I'm super happy and ready for the swelling to decrease. #happyme

I'm feeling great, no pain but minor sharp pains here and there. I have a high level of sensation when I get cold or my clothes brush near my sports bra. I do have discomfort with the rubbing of my bra but I've put a pad under to help. My question today is has anyone put the steri strips on after the stitches were removed?

My stitches were removed today and things got a little emotional for me. There were a few areas still open a little. Dr mentioned I didn't need steri strips but I'm thinking otherwise. I'm not so happy about my scar/incision under my breasts!

Hi, I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this but my lefty has some challenges. A spot that won't seem to start healing. Prior to removing the stitches there was a dark bloody patch and now this. Dr. Said it was common and to just put Vaseline on it. Has this happened to you?

Hey there. I'm just posting and journaling my progress and hoping along
The way it will help someone. I'm still having challenges with my left wound closing.
Has this happened to any of you before? I find it very unusual considering my right is completely closed with very minimum scars!

I'm still happy with the reduction and with the size. I'm still swollen and tender in certain places, the left side being the most complicated.
Very little itching but the end of the scar under my arms I've been using strips to help flatten them out a little more.

My healing has slowed down a bit. I still have a small spot that hasn't completely healed on my left side and my lefty is still a bit swollen.
I'm still happy just worried about my left side. I started sleeping on my sides last week with minor discomfort.

Dr. Quigley did a fantastic job on my tummy tuck. After two kids (who were almost 10 pounds), I had a lot of sagging skin and stretch marks. My stomach looks better than it did before kids! I would do it again 100 times!

Tuesday 24th got appt with doctor to see if I can get a TT. I had appt when I was 39 and had to cancel found out I was expecting with my 3 child.
Now I'm ready! But very scared of pain after surgery and the recovery time. Is the pain pump better then The new drug that last 72 hours (experal)?
I been reading post on this site and has made a little more scared cuz most of the reviews say the pain is Hell! Oh yea I'm scared of infections too!

I am 3 weeks post and very happy with result.
My BB heal at 2 weeks and my incision is doing good on healing it has a raw place above my vagina area about 1 inch in width, changing my dressing on it 2 times a day! I stay swollen and sore! I'm still in recliner sleeping and back still hurts alittle and swell hell is real!

I thought I was doing good but Sunday night I started leaking fluid thru my incision and start me on antibiotics tuesday. Went to PS today and they cut into the incision were it was leaking and clean it out and pull out one stitch that was causes it to leak and then have a rash cause of neosporsin! Needless to say back in recliner til Monday

Dr. Wifely truly is the best in the region. Every nurse and even a neurosurgeon, in Memphis I've talked to attested to her credibility and the fact that she would be who they would and/or have used as their own surgeon. She a professional, knowledgable, and actually has trauma surgery experience which put me at ease. Highly recommend her!

I would highly recommend Dr. Quigley to anyone (clients, friends and/or family). I asked several people who they would choose to perform a breast reduction and her name was consistently mentioned. I had a LOT of questions throughout the entire process and not only was she extremely friendly, but she put me at total ease before and after the surgery. I appreciate her insight and input - she is direct and honest. I am extremely happy with my results and thankful for her good work!
