After general anesthesia, it is not uncommon to have decreased appetite.  Most people are pretty well back to normal within a week following the cessation of narcotic pain medication, but sometimes it takes a couple of weeks. If you are concerned about nutritional deficiencies, you could supplement with protein shakes and vitamins.  The weight gain you have experienced is almost certainly related to water retention and the weight of the implants.  Your weight should be back to normal by the end of your first month after surgery.

Most people feel they are back to "normal" in a few days but your experience is not unheard of either. Medications such as pain med or antibiotic can affect your appetite, too. It is not uncommon to experience a variety of side effects from anesthesia and pain medication.  This can include bloating or constipation and a decreased appetite as well as some sluggishness.   these effects tend to wear out over a few weeks but last longer in some patients. Be sure to cheick in with your plastic surgeon.

What you are experiencing is not uncommon.  The combination of anesthesia and narcotic pain medication can slow down the gut causing a decrease in appetite, feeling of bloating, and constipation.  Talk to your surgeon to see if a stool softener or laxative would be beneficial for you.
