What are my options?? Please someone help
Answer: Hello Hello, for what i could evaluate on the photos, you would need to wait for your skin to heal, completely and the scars to mature a bit longer, the you could have a revision of the scars, and round up the areola again, shouldn't be a problem. Best wishes

Answer: Half of nipple lost after wound dehiscence. What can I do? Thank you for your question and photographs. The good news is it doesn't appear that you have lost the lower half of your areolas. The bad news is that the wound opening during your healing period has caused the healing scar to blend in with your areola tissue to distort its appearance. If you would want to try and improve the appearance of both, you can have a scar revision performed, but you would need to wait until you are completely healed from this surgery. This may be a year or more from the original date of your surgery, and can be tested clinically by a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Nipple Areolar correction Hi,Thank you for your question and your photos. Your photos demonstrate scarring from the wound opening up. The nipples look intact. Right now the scars are red and immature. Given time the scars will fade and blend into to the surrounding skin better. If you remain unhappy with their appearance, they can be revised under a local in the doctors office. Another alternative for you might be to consider a tattoo of the areola(the bottom half of the nipple that you mention) to improve the color. Good Luck. Doctor Bev
