Hello- I'm a 38 year old female. After losing the weight from my third pregnancy, I noticed that a disproportionate amount of fat seemed to have been lost from my face leaving me looking old and tired (older than my age, really), with extremely narrow checks. I am considering fillers to help me feel comfortable again, but I'm not sure which filler would be the most appropriate. Voluma seems maybe safer than Sculptra, but can it fix my issue? Thanks!
Answer: Can Voluma fix hollow cheeks? Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. Because on your limited picture it appears that you would benefit from whole face volume replacement I would have you consider Sculptra use over the next several months to achieve a subtle, albeit noticeable improvement with time. Sculptra works best over the hollows of the cheek while HA fillers like Voluma work better over bone surfaces like the cheeks, temples, and jawline. Hope this helps.

Answer: Midface Volume Rejuvenation Congratulations on your pregnancy. You can absolutely use Voluma to help volumize your cheeks and midface, since it is both safe and long lasting when used in this area. The downside to Voluma however is that it is temporary and would require additional treatments to maintain its result. Also, looking at your photo, you have pretty significant volume loss throughout your midface. This would require multiple syringes of Voluma. Depending on your desired enhancement, fat transfer may be a more permanent, cost effective alternative. This would entail harvesting fat from either your abdomen or thighs and injecting that fat into your cheeks. I would recommend you schedule a consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to discuss both treatments and what may be best suited for you. Good luck.

Answer: Can Voluma Fix Hollow Cheeks? Voluma Does Terrific Job of Restoring Facial Volume You could get an amazing rejuvenation with Voluma to fill in the volume you lost when you dropped the pounds after your pregnancy. I might consider layering the Voluma over Sculptra on the cheekbones to give you even more of a lift. Laser toning can jumpstart your own natural collagen production, too. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who has experience creating beautiful rejuvenations with dermal fillers such as Voluma and Sculptra.

Answer: Solution for your hollow cheeks Congratulations on your third pregnancy! As time passes you will notice volume loss in your face. Several Sculptra injections placed strategically over time will slowly help volumize your face by collagen stimulation. Voluma fillers will give you volume as well but may not help with your extremely narrow cheek.

Answer: Fillers Such as Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, Silk, Radiesse, Sculptra, Bellafill; Fat Transfer/Renuva fillers and fat grafting can all help improve hollow cheeks I like this in combination with sculptra injections. I would suggest a formal consultation with an expert in facial volumization. Best, Dr. Emer.
