I fell off my bike onto thorns and punctured my cheek and torn a small part of my earlobe off. I have a few small dissolvable stitches in my earlobe. The nerves in my cheek are traumatised though not too badly and they should return to normal sensitivity over time. The punctures on my cheek are healing and did not need stitches. This happened roughly 8 days ago. I would like to return to the gym at least (running and weights) but I'm wondering if it's safe yet.
