Been told I'm too young for a brow lift - what can I do to address my drooping brow?

Hi there Ever since I was a baby, I had one lower brow.. with age + Botox treatment, that brow muscle is weaker than ever. I feel almost paralyzed on the right side Can someone give me any tips on what direction I should go… I was told I was too young for a full brow lift (I’m 34)

You are not too young for a browlift. However, no browlift (or any lifting procedure) will last forever. Once tissues are lifted gravity will start to act on them again. Essentially we are resetting the clock. Browlifting could be a great option to help elevate the brows and make them more symmetrical. Best to have an in person consultation.

A photo would have been extremely helpful. In its absence, I can only speak generally. Experienced injectors routinely use an appropriate HA filler to elevate drooping brows. The procedure takes only about five minutes to perform per side and the results are typically immediate and generally engender little to no significant downtime. In this case, only the drooping side would likely require treatment in order to achieve greater symmetry between it and the other brow. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist injector and best of luck.

To give the eyebrows a nice lift, we use injectable fillers to improve the eyebrow, upper eye, forehead and temple. A filler is placed on the bone and in the fat pads of these areas to contour and lift without it looking overdone. We use cannulas to limit pain and swelling. Hello, hope you are well. It's hard to make a genuine recommendation without photos or an in-person examination, but generally speaking you sound appropriate for a brow lift. Age is far less important than anatomy. If you have significant brow asymmetry, a well-executed procedure can help to improve this. You do not need to wait until an arbitrary age for surgical correction.

We do many browlifts on people your age or younger. The key is not the age, but the appearance. Without your photo it is hard to see what's going on, but, your age is not the issue.

It is not possible to give definitive advice without an in person consultation but unilateral browlift for brow asymmetry can be done at any age successfully. Complete brow symmetry in general not possible to obtain but mild brow asymmetries are very common and not obvious.  The major issue with mild brow asymmetry is its effects on eykekid symmetry.  A temporal brow lift is usually all that is necessary and I often do them as an office orocedire with local anesthesia and light sedation.  Get more than one opinion and ask to see before and after pictures of patients with brow asymmetry.

I would recommend that you submit pictures for a better understanding of your situation.
Brow asymmetry is extremely common.
Toxin treatments can help to lower an elevated brow and slightly right a depressed brow but is of limited benefit and duration.

There's no "age-limit" per se with regards to a browlift if the situation justifies such an intervention.

Thank you for your question.

Botox placed in the side of the eyelid in the crows feet region combined with Botox in the frown lines or 11's region can give you approximately 6 mm of eyebrow elevation without surgery.

Be sure to contact an experience injector so the Botox of proper amount can be placed into the proper areas for brow elevation.
Not have Botox placed in the transverse lines across your forehead and his injection there could drop your brows.
