I've read that both of them are similar in the sense that they are minimally invasive compared to regular brow lifts. I'd like to know which are the main differences between them and what appears to be the most effective in terms of durability. Between gliding, endoscopic and traditional brow lift, which of them allows to lift more the eyebrows? Are gliding and endoscopic effective for lifting the temporal area if that is your only goal? Thank you very much.
Answer: What's Right for You Hello, hope you are well. There are many types of brow lift techniques, but no such thing as an overall "best" technique. By extension, neither gliding brow lift or endoscopic brow lift is better--the question to ask your surgeon is which is better for you. It truly depends on the individual, and what is best suited to them. I offer differ types of brow lift (e.g. endoscopic, coronal, trichophytic), depending on factors such as hairline, severity of brow ptosis, brow shape, and asymmetry. A well executed brow lift can achieve substantial lift with proper patient selection, but be careful what you wish for. It may not be necessary to maximize lift as it can look unnatural. As with facelifts, my advice is to focus less on technique, and more on what your surgeon can accomplish for you individually. You can judge by reviewing results, and discussing advantages and disadvantages of different techniques that are presented, and question 'why' if you need to. Good luck! Best,Dr. Tower

Answer: Brow lift techniques In general, gliding brow lifts are weaker than other forms of brow lifting but ultimately it depends on the surgeon's skill with each technique. The most powerful browlift is a trichophytic (hairline style) approach as the brow is able to be release and skin is able to be excised. That being said, an endoscopic brow lift can have comparable results in the right hands. Ultimately it depends on your anatomy, goals, and your surgeon's evaluation.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Brow lift Gliding Brow Lift: Gliding brow lift, also known as a temporal brow lift, is a less invasive procedure compared to endoscopic or traditional brow lifts. It involves making small incisions at the temples and using specialized instruments to lift and reposition the outer portion of the eyebrows. This technique focuses on addressing sagging or drooping of the outer brow area. Traditional Brow Lift: A traditional brow lift, also known as a coronal brow lift or open brow lift, is a more invasive procedure. It involves creating an incision across the top of the scalp, usually within the hairline, to access and lift the underlying tissues of the forehead and brow area. The surgeon then removes excess skin and repositions the brows to achieve a more youthful appearance. As a surgeon, my preferred method for achieving the goals mentioned above is the endoscopic brow lift. This technique allows me to make small incisions that are hidden within the hair, resulting in minimal visible scarring. Unlike many other plastic surgeons who use five incisions, I perform this surgery using only four, as I believe it allows me to achieve unparalleled results in terms of elevating the brow, controlling the final shape, and ensuring long-lasting outcomes. This advanced procedure is facilitated by utilizing an endoscopic (and microscopic) camera, which guides the specialized curved instruments required for the surgery. I hope this helps, Best of luck !
