I had 1.5 liters of fat removed during lipo. 4 weeks post, and no results yet. How long until I should expect to see change?

Thank you for your question. Because you are only 4 weeks post op, you are still experiencing a substantial amount of swelling. You will start to see results at around 3 months and your final results may appear around the 6-9 month mark. Patience is key during the recovery period. Best of luck!

It’s hard to give a proper assessment without photos, but it’s possible that swelling still obscures your final results. You’ll start to see results in about three months, and your final results will show at about six months to one year after your liposuction. Patience is key.
If you’re still not satisfied with your results after all the swelling has subsided, be sure to go back to your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon to explore your other options.
