Can people with illnesses, such as cancer or lupus, be a candidate for liposuction surgery?

momlife28
I am 29, and have given birth to 4 children. I had my heart set on liposuction. However, recently, my doctor is concerned because I've had some health issues, and I have a history of lupus and cancer in my family. I am currently being tested. If I happen to test positive for either illness, would it still be possible to get treatment? I don't have other pre-existing conditions like high blood pressure or diabetes. I do get exhausted very quickly, which is why I was leaning toward liposuction.
