Thanks for your question. Yes, a BBL (which includes 360 Lipo) can be combined with a breast lift. However, you should be aware that the recovery is more difficult when procedures are combined. You will only be able to sleep on your sides and this makes for a very uncomfortable recovery. In addition, the post-surgery pain is much greater. I recommend scheduling a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to get a proper recommendation.Take care,Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
I perform these procedures at the same time several times a month. If you are healthy, the three surgeries can be combined. Sleeping during recovery can be creatively managed without compromising the results of the BBL or the BL. The result is really a function of how aggressively the surgeon will liposuction and transfer. Most patients get an immense benefit with maximal liposuction of the abdomen, sides, and back to obtain the smallest waist possible and then maximal fat transfer to the buttocks and hips. I allow patients to sleep on their sides. My patient coordinator recommends a plastic inflatable with a hole in it (called a lilo), where instead of your tummy, you place your butt, so you can sleep on your back with pillows propping up your neck and head.
Dear butterfly2023, I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. These procedures must be divided in two sessions, six months apart, due to recovery and the time under anesthesia. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Most plastic surgeons will want you to sleep facedown on your abdomen after a BBL and you can’t do this after breast lift surgery.Because of this these two procedures are not symbiotic and should be done at separate procedures.Plastic surgeons will have different views on this and you may find someone who has no issue with you sleeping on your back or on your side after a BBL.A lot also depends on how much work is involved with the BBL. If that procedure in itself is going to push things to the limit in regards to invasiveness or time in the operating room and adding a breast lift which is a fairly lengthy procedure and itself may be too much.Different surgeons have different views on this in regards to this for both the patient and the surgeon. If two surgeons work together then the amount of time in the operating room can be cut down significantly. There is no absolute right or wrong but I would recommend doing it as two separate procedures.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
Hello,Thank you for sharing the information, it is a pleasure for me to answer your question.Definitely the most appropriate is to start (liposuction and BBL can also be included), you are a candidate perfect, for the procedure, with this you can eliminate all localized fat and flaccidity, you will get the best results and have a defined appearance according to your body. everything depends on your BMI, if it is within the normal range, above 35 it can generate risks. It is advisable to consult with a certified plastic surgeon, for a good evaluation, to provide you with all the information you need to know about the appropriate recommendations, so that you can achieve the desired goals in your body.
