Botox Cosmetic does not cause divots. The product is mixed with normal saline and, once injected, takes effect at its receptor and then the volume goes away. Hello and thanks for your question. Botox should not leave divots in the skin. Small bumps may be present after injection, but they go away within 30-45 minutes. Follow up with your provider to see if they may have been present prior to the injections. Good luck to you!
Botox injection for migraine, just like cosmetic Botox, in the forehead is not suppose to cause divot in the skin. Check with your provider and compare your forehead now with your prior photos before the injection to see if it is indeed new or might have been there prior to the injection but your were not paying attention to it.
Botox does not cause divots. Make a followup appointment with your provider to review the result. Hopefully they took "Before" photos even though your treatment was not specifically for cosmetic reasons. Botox will impact the muscles injected regardless if it was done for cosmetic or medical purpose. It takes up to 14 days before seeing final results from a Botox treatment. If you are concerned about the appearance of your forehead you could get a touch up for cosmetic reasons to improve the look.
