Botox Cosmetic does not cause divots. The product is mixed with normal saline and, once injected, takes effect at its receptor and then the volume goes away. I would speak with the person who actually performed your injections and let them know your concern. All the best,-Gregory A Buford MD FACS PCEOBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and AuthorCertified National Allergan MASTER Facial Injectables Trainer
Hello and thanks for your question. Botox should not leave divots in the skin. Small bumps may be present after injection, but they go away within 30-45 minutes. Follow up with your provider to see if they may have been present prior to the injections. Good luck to you!
Botox injection for migraine, just like cosmetic Botox, in the forehead is not suppose to cause divot in the skin. Check with your provider and compare your forehead now with your prior photos before the injection to see if it is indeed new or might have been there prior to the injection but your were not paying attention to it.
Botox does not cause divots. Make a followup appointment with your provider to review the result. Hopefully they took "Before" photos even though your treatment was not specifically for cosmetic reasons. A review of the before photos and an exam of the area should provide some clues as to the cause of the divots. Best, Dr. Tkatch

Yes, Botox can be used to reduce the temporal muscle and can be used to treat migraines. I recommend seeing a Doctor with experience with this type of injection. Hope this helps.
I recommend following up with your injector. Tenderness should resolve in a few days. In the mean time, venus legacy treatments may give improvement. Best, Dr. Emer
