Are lumps on my forehead a result of my last Botox treatment? (Photos)

Question

I have been getting botox for my migraines for 2 years and have never had a reaction. About 4 or 5 days after my last treatment(2 and a half weeks ago) a giant lump formed above my eyebrow, it went away after 2 days but other lumps have been forming and going back down on my forehead and hairline since. My eyes also swelled from days 5-10. My neurologist said it had nothing to do with botox when I contacted the office, and she did not want to see me, but I feel it has to be related to my botox.

You may have had some swelling, which can happen with any type of injection. Keep in mind, it can take up to 2 weeks for final results with Botox. Best, Dr. Emer

Dear Halouvstars,Thank you for your question. Bumps can form after Botox injection due to swelling but are usually small and temporary. Any long term bump is probably not related to Botox.
