Hello there, I had a fue surgery about a month ago. so i am close to a month post op. I am fully aware that there are hair shedding expected. I am currently going through that phase and seeing hairs coming out. I also see a little bulb attached to the shaft as well, so i am wondering is that the follicle. I am attaching a photo, would be great if somebody can give a quick feedback if thats normal Thanks

Answer: Photos of your hair that has fallen out cannot give a diagnosis. It is normal to lose hairs after surgery

Believe it or not, I have found after 22 years that the body does not need help to heal itself after HT. I tell my patients to put nothing on it unless it itches. If it does then put on some vit E on the donor, but not necessary for healing. Dr. Feller
