27 yr old male with MPB.On finas since 25,used minox for a yr but not good enough results so decided to stop minox and get FUE transplant to fill in temples and hairline only.Slowly tapered off minox and stopped fully about 5 weeks before FUE.Head was shaved for transplant. After 30 days native hair in midscalp (no grafts inserted here) has been really slow to grow back, 60% of the hairs have stayed at the shaved length + will not lengthen. Why is this? Rest of native hair is growing fine.

Answer: If you stopped Minoxidil and noticed hair loss, it probably means it was working.
