30F, I had a breast augmentation 4 months ago, with SRF implants. 345 cc on the left and 295 cc on the right in the photo. The right is still sitting high and seems to be slightly misshaped. Is there anything I can do to help this? My surgeon stopped practicing and I can’t get in anywhere new for a few months
Answer: Implant seated high At four months post op you still may see a little more settling over the next couple of months before a revision would be recommended. Massaging around the implant may help. If your surgeon retired they often have someone take over for them. You may want to schedule a visit to that surgeon for an evaluation.

Answer: Uneven breasts after breast implant surgery Thank you for your question. Some initial swelling in the breasts is expected after the surgery and this can often cause patients to think that there’s a difference in shape and size between the breasts. This may also make your breasts appear uneven in the first few days, weeks or even months after your breast implants are placed. It sometimes takes 3-4 months to settle down into final position. However, if there’s too much asymmetry in between the breasts it is not possible to make it even after the surgery either. I always let my patients know during their initial consultation that it is impossible to fix the asymmetry 100% but we can come as close as possible.

Answer: Asymmetry after augmentation Thank you for submitting your questions and photos. I’m sorry you are experiencing some breast asymmetry after your augmentation. Based on your photos, it does appear that the right implant is sitting a little higher compared to the left. Being only 4 months out from surgery, there is still potential for it to continue to settle over the next few months. I recommend daily implant massage and giving it a few more months. Surgeons generally don’t recommend revising breast augs until at least 6-12 months after the initial surgery. I recommend seeking out a board certified plastic surgeon to monitor your progress. Good luck and thanks again for reaching out.

Answer: BA results Dear keh1994, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
