I have recently had Bilateral breast implant removal and replace. A biopsy of the capsules show Squamous Metaplasia in both breasts. Although my surgeon has removed the majority of the capsules there is some tissue still left. Have any surgeons experienced this before? What course of action did you take? Thank you.

If you have a shaped implant, I suggest exchanging your implants for smooth and round implants. If your implant is placed over the muscle, I would suggest placing it behind the muscle. Your pockets may also need to be tightened.
Your lower implant is bottoming out and this can be corrected by tightening the lower pocket. Your other side looks great. I would ask to see your before photos to see how even/uneven you were before surgery.
Dear MRrobert19,
breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient.
