I am scheduled for a lower facelift in a few months and when I called to say I may want to ad an upper blephaloplasty I was told since my Dr is getting ‘quite booked’ I may need to change my date. I am a hairdresser and I totally get this but it scares me for PS. What is a totally booked day for a PS? I guess I thought I’d be THE patient on my surgery day.

Answer: Average Facelift treatments per day--add ultherapy This can vary depending on the Doctor's preference. I recommend following up with your Doctor about your concerns. To improve final results, we will often do ultherapy about 4-6 weeks after a facelift to get more of an outcome. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: How many patients does the average PS do in a day? I don’t want to think he/she is rushed for time on my surgery day? Dear kimund, Thank you for posting your question. How many patients the plastic surgeon operates on in a day varies a lot. It depends on the expected length of surgery and the amount of operating time available to the surgeon amongst other factors. Some surgeries take 6 to 7 hours or more, while others are under 1 hour in length. Your surgeon may have allowed enough time to do your facelift and othe patients may have booked the remaining operating time. This does not necessarily mean that your surgeon is over worked or under too much pressure. It is simply the practicalities of scheduling operations and booking a normal working day for your surgeon. If you have otherwise found the right surgeon for you in every other aspect, then I would suggest speaking to their office and/or to your surgeon and finding the right solution for your surgery. I hope this was helpful and good luck with your surgery! Best wishes
