Is KT tape a normal practice for a scarless breast lift?

i had a scarless breast lift and removap and replacement of implants. My right breast nipple wanted to point down so Dr is having me wear the tape for 3 months to have it corrected. It's called KT tape. Is this normal to use the tape? The tape hurts my skin. I'm 9 days post op.

Hello,I am sorry that you were duped into thinking that a scarless breast lift actually works. Your nipple is pointing down because you have too much skin and tissue above it, and no tape will help. In general, the use of tape is effective to protect a surgical result, but it is always ineffective to do the job that the surgery was supposed to do in the first place. Best of luck.

Thanks for your inquiry, KT tape has role in sports medicine.  I am unsure if it will achieve the goals you are trying to achieve. Plastic surgery is always full of innovation and maybe this will work, good luck.
