I'm 5'2 I weigh 110 pounds. I used to be 150 pounds with 36DDD breasts. My goal is to get closer to my old size. So with 450 what cup size would I approximately be?

Answer: What size will I eventually be with breast aug surgery? Hello,My colleagues are correct in saying that cup size determination varies widely from person to person and even more so when bra manufacturers are not standardized in their sizing. That being said...I've developed a formula that will give me a more accurate guesstimation. Assuming you have been professionally measured and are a true 34C, in order to achieve a DDD cup, you will need to have an increase of at least 300cc. If your breasts are high on your chest, adding 300cc of weight should not be too problematic for you long term. However, if your breasts need lifting and someone has misinformed you by suggesting that adding a big implant will "take up the slack" or that performing a dual plane placement will void the need of a lift is misleading you. If this is the case, please visit the breast augmentation revision forum on this site to become informed. Please do your research and educate yourself about your options. Ask hard questions! This is a good start. Remember that breast implants are heavy and as such can create difficulties (implants are not stable devices - they move and shift) that may require revision.

Answer: What cup size would I be? Without an in-person examination to determine the quality of your breast skin, degree of droop, and amount of volume needed to fill our the soft tissue envelope, there is really no way to answer this question for you. My suggestion would be to start with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in breast enhancement surgery and discuss with him/her your goals and what specifically you would like to accomplish. From there, you can can talk about specific volumes that will allow you to achieve these ends. I hope that helps and wish you the very best!Warmest regards,-Gregory A Buford MD FACSBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
