For various reasons I did not want to go big with my implants but my results I feel look like I didnt do anything at all and are extremely tiny in my opinion. I wish I had known 375cc wasn't all that big on my body type. I went from barely fitting into an A to now feeling like I fished out money for nothing. When can I replace them? As I sit here with tears of disappointment!
Answer: 1 day post op and am disappointed with the size of my BA. When can I replace them? First, I would tell you to be patient. Your breasts will often look "small" the first few days postop due to the muscle being tight and flattening the implants. They will look larger as they settle and the muscle relaxes. In general, I would not recommend that you consider changing them for at least three months to ensure that you have achieved your final shape and determined how you feel about the size.

Answer: 1 day post op and am disappointed with the size of my BA. When can I replace them? In general, most plastic surgeons would not revise a breast augmentation for larger implants until at least 3 months. It's too early in your recovery to jump to conclusions about the size of the implants. Wait until six months to assess whether they fit your anatomy.

Answer: Disappointed 1 Day After Breast Augmentation You should wait at least 6 months before having revision surgery. It takes 6 months or maybe more to see your final result, you may be happy by then. If not, be sure to discuss your concerns with your surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: Healing process You are very early in the healing process after breast augmentation. It is much to soon to even think of another surgery at this point. As the implants soften, settle and drop the breast shape will change. It can take 4-6 months before the implants look and feel like they belong to you. Be sure to keep any scheduled follow up appointments you have with your surgeon for his or her evaluation and advice. If you move forward with an implant exchange procedure in the future, express your goals and expectations to your surgeon prior to the procedure and confirm you are both on the same page. Best, Dr. B

Answer: Concern after breast augmentation Hi and welcome to our forum!Healing after breast augmentationinvolves readjustment of the skin and soft tissue envelope to the presence ofthe added fullness and weight of the prosthesis within thebreast. The "drop and fluff" phenomenon may take 3 months or so.Breast projection will increase as the implant settles in. Initial postoperative swelling will totally obscure the operative result. 60-80% of the swelling will resolve in 6 weeks with full healing taking 6-12 months. 375 cc implants are of considerable volume. Without information of height / weight / body type or photos to demonstrate your concern, it is difficult to advise. If after 6 months, you are still dissatisfied, implant replacement can be performed. We wait until postoperative inflammation and hypervascularity have subsided.Discuss your concerns with yoursurgeon.Bestwishes...
