How much will it cost to undergo full body liposuction? Can I do all at once? I have limited funds (Photo)

Thank you for your question. While you can liposuction several areas at once there is a limit to how much fat can be removed safely. Risks from liposuction increase significantly when over 5 liters of fat are suctioned out. We usually stay below this limit for patient safety. We’ve found that we’re able to achieve dramatic improvements for our patients with 2 to 4 liters of liposuction, depending on their needs.Prices vary a lot according to experience and board certification of the plastic surgeon, facilities, quality of the practice, region, etc… If you're willing to travel medical tourism is an attractive way to get quality results at a lower price. Hi, thank you for your question. In general, up to 5 liters of liposuction can be performed in one sitting for safety reasons. It looks like you would have a wonderful result with significantly less volume than that removed. It is reasonable to do this at the same time as a breast reduction, as long as you are going to a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in combining multiple procedures and who can do so efficiently and safely. In terms of cost, this will be expensive. You may be able to get insurance to cover the breast reduction. Liposuction generally costs between 3-5k for the first area and less for each additional area depending on geography and physician experience. Beyond small discounts from well-known doctors, please do not look for bargain pricing! It is much safer to wait until you can afford a safe, excellent surgeon.

Getting all 3 lipo procedures done during 1 week allows you to recover all at once under tumescent local and would make a huge improvement. One would be the upper/lower abdomen and flanks; one would be the thighs and knees; one would be the midback, axillae and arms.  I would not do lipo on the breasts.  Leave that to someone who does breast reductions. $24,000 is a good discounted estimate for the 3 procedures and would be so worth it.

There is no such thing as full-body liposuction. It is NOT a weight loss procedure--it is ONLY a targeted fat loss for well-described areas.And, if you are short on funds, it probably is not the right option for you--procedures start at $3500 in my office for one area.Best.

For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. Based on your pictures you would be a good candidate for liposuction. I prefer Smartlipo in a hospital surgicenter under general anesthesia to do abdomen, back, arms and thighs in one procedure. 7 liters or less can be done safely.  It would be unlikely you would need more than that.

I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing all your concerns. If you choose to do liposuction under local anesthesia, you may need 2 or 3 surgeries because of the limit of local anesthesia that can be given at one time. If you would want to do everything under general anesthesia, you might be able to do it in one to two sessions. Each surgeon will have a different opinion based on his/her speed of doing surgery. Many outpatient surgical centers limit elective surgery to four hours. I would suggest discussing what really bothers you the most first.
