Can I have chin liposuction done shortly before getting pregnant?

You should be able to have this done, even under anesthesia, and get pregnant in a week.  I would allow a week to make sure all of the medications are completely out of your system.  Generally, even with some weight gain during pregnancy, as long as the weight gain is not excessive, the double chin should not come back.  Make sure you are no longer taking pain medications before getting pregnant.   This is generally a "painless" procedure and most people take nothing or Tylenol only during recovery.  But, some slightly soreness for a few days afterwards is common.

I treat this everyday in my practice. You do not need surgery and it can be done before getting pregnant -- even a day before!!  Properly performed liposuction with laser/ultrasound/RF and physical fat removal will do fantastic to remove the fat, lift the skin, and contour the jawline. I pretreat everyone with Botox 1-2 weeks before surgery to relax the neck muscles, allowing for better retraction of the skin after surgery. Then after treatment we do skin tightening with Venus Legacy to improve the results and decrease the neck swelling. Liposuction of the chin and neck is generally performed with local anesthesia. There should be no problem with attempted pregnancy immediately after the procedure.

It is acceptable to undergo chin liposuction, but make sure you give yourself some time to heal before becoming pregnant. A double chin can be created from either sub-platysmal fatty deposits, or sub mental fatty deposits which is best determined at the time of examination and consultation. Local anesthesia can be employed for simple liposuction of the neck, however a neck lift will require general anesthetic which removes both fatty deposits and includes a platysma plasty. Fat cells are dynamic with weight gain and loss, and once the fatty deposits have been removed from the neck, less  fullness will be gained in  the neck when patients gain weight.

I see no reason why you cannot have chin liposuction and plan on becoming pregnant soon after.Typically, recovery for this procedure is short and easy. Most patients see immediate improvements, which only improve over the next few months. I suggest you have a consultation with an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon to see if you may be a candidate for this type of procedure.
