Hi, I'm 27 and I am one month post-op from mommy makeover. I feel like my ps didnt lipo enough fat because I still have big love handles and some fat around my stomach. Or am I still considered to be swollen? I'm not sure need a second opinion. Will a bbl help me with all that? Also, my husband wants to have another baby in the future but I'm not sure if I want to but if it happens will a BBL help after pregnancy or should I just go get my BBL done first? Thank you for your help!

Answer: Is it possible to get a BBL after a mommy makeover? Thank you for your question and photos. You did not post any photos of your back/buttocks. Based on your preop photo, I would've done a two stage procedure. You do not seem to have a lot of fat and I would've collected the fat from the full abdomen, back, waist and hips and transfer the fat for a BBL. Second stage, an abdominoplasty 4-6 months later with a low and short scar. Maybe this option was not presented to you and now you have excess fat, a rectangular shape and a very long and high scar. Once you heal, yes you can have liposuction (I prefer the VASER) and have fat placed for a BBL. There's a good possibility that you will end up with loose abdominal skin afterwards.Discuss your concerns with your surgeon or seek a second opinion from a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques. Good luck with your healing.

Answer: Mommy makeover results Dear Caring3613, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a mommy makeover surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery. If you are not satisfied with the results of your surgery and you have enough fat, then you might be a candidate for a BBL surgery.
