I simply want to add volume to the hip area to help balance the thighs (I don’t want to change the butt size), but I do not know how much of an increase in hip width I can expect from a BBL.

Answer: Candidacy for BBL More pictures of your backside would be helpful. If you have a nice apple shaped backside and want to increase the perception of width sometimes all you need to do is to decrease the width of your hips through liposuction.
