I had Ultherapy yesterday full face & neck. I've got welts on my neck that are hard underneath. Is this normal? (Photos)

Question

The redness is gone but they are pretty raised and look and feel like knots. If this is normal how long with it stay that way? I was told there is no recovery time and hat everything would look normal except for possibly some bruising. I have significant bruises on my cheeks as well.

This can sometimes be seen after using the orange transducer, as its the most superficial one. What you have experienced overall is quite rare and should resolve in a day or two. We have performed many of these procedures and have seen bruising only twice, and these are usually in patients who tell us that they have a history of easy bruising

The raised areas are not usually seen after ultherapy. Bruising and redness is very mild and goes away in few hours. I recommend waiting another couple days and if no improvement then get the areas of concerns evaluated.
