My doctor out Volbella in my temple hollows. Is this normal? At first I thought it looked good, but now I don’t see much of a correction.
Answer: Volbella in Temple Hollows? Volbella Can Be Used in Temple Hollows Volbella is a subtle filler, so I usually use it for natural-looking lip augmentations. The temple is not a good place to use Volbella. For temples, I’d pick a thicker filler, such as Voluma. If you’re not seeing the change you want, you can return to your injector. You might also look at your Before photos; sometimes the change is more dramatic than you think because we quickly get used to our new look, forgetting what we looked like just days before a procedure. Consulting with your board-certified dermatologist will give you an opportunity to decide if you’d like more filler or if the correction was enough for you.

Answer: Improving the temples with fillers (Radiesse, Voluma, Bellafill), Sculptra, fat Volbella is a thinner filler and will give subtle results. The temples can be improved with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Fat is an alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Volbella in temple hollows, is that normal? Thank you for sharing your question. I would verify that Volbella was the filler used as this is comprised of a very thin gel and would add little volume to the temples. In most cases Voluma is a better choice out of the Juvederm family of fillers. Hope this helps.
