Hi- I had Rhinoplasty 9 days ago & it looks like my tip is really too high & my nostrils were taken in a lot. I look like a Who from Dr Seus! I'm nervous that my new nose won't look right & will remain looking like a snout. I'm Multiracial but I felt like I had a Middle Eastern/Black nose & I wanted to keep my ethnic features but a more feminine & refined nose. I'm not sure if that was achieved & I feel like everyone can tell. I'm scared! Is there anything I can do- other than wait a yr ex. Exercises etc

Answer: Elevated tip following rhinoplasty It is too early to judge your surgical results following rhinoplasty at nine days following surgery. But I'm sure you know this already. Thankfully, it is not unusual for the tip to remain slightly elevated for a few weeks following surgery. As time passes, your nose will tend to drift towards its preoperative appearance. It is not unusual to overcorrect certain aspects of the nose, understanding that some of these changes may partially revert back to their preoperative state. Rhinoplasty is a difficult surgery. It is critical to maintain the same trust in your physician after surgery that you had before surgery. Thus, if a revision becomes necessary, he/she can help you to achieve great long term results. But it is too early to judge. There are no exercises that I am aware of to alter results. Occasionally, massage of certain areas will help with swelling/shaping the nose after surgery. Good luck!

Answer: Rhinoplasty results early Being that you are only 9 days out from rhinoplasty, you are very early in the healing process and have to give yourself time to heal.
