Question

I am 5'1" weight 151 lbs. I have had two C-sections and have maintained my current weight for over a year. I have extra skin on my stomach and my breast hang. I am considering considering a tummy tuck. I am in the process of scheduling consultations but want to make sure I'm not wasting my time and if I would possibly get decent results.

Thank you for your photos. From your photos, as your redundant skin extends to beneath your mid axillary line, your optimal results would likely come from an extended abdominoplasty. To maximize your contour, liposuction of the upper portion of your abdomen, flanks and below your bra line would likely give you the maximum benefits and results. You have extra over your abdomen and probably of your breasts and you also have extra fat that extends out laterally. A tummy tuck will not be able to remove all of it. You will probably need more a circumferential body lift combined with the tummy tuck. Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs of your breasts but you may benefit from a breast lift. If a breast lift is needed, I always recommend doing the breast lift first as it lifts the breasts as well as the upper abdominal skin. The breast lift technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.

You can achieve a fantastic result with liposuction 360 and an extended tummy tuck. The area that this plan might not fully address would be the upper back area. I'm not able to see that area very well in the pictures you provided, but that area will improve at least some with the liposuction. I would definitely recommend talking to a few board-certified plastic surgeons to find someone with whom you feel comfortable.

Thank you for sharing your photos. You are an excellent candidate for a tummy tuck and should get a great result. A standard tummy tuck procedure involves an incision horizontally just above the pubic area. You may want to also consider a fleur-de-lys incision. This provides an additional vertical incision. Though there is additional scarring, this approach allows skin and fat to be removed both horizontally and vertically. A tighter tummy is achieved, but the vertical scar can be noticeable, even after maturing.

From the submitted photos it appears you are a candidate for a tummy tuck.  This would remove excess subcutaneous fat and skin as well as correct abdominal wall laxity.  Liposuction could be added to enhance your look.  The result would be a flatter, tighter tummy.
