Brrojas. Interesting question. Liposuction of your arms will not affect your tattoo. The procedure will simply reduce fat in the area of the arms treated and Skin should retract and have little effect on the tattoo. However, if your arms are quite large and aggressive liposuction is performed, if the skin does sag, the tattoo may appear to look different. Discuss your concerns of the board-certified plastic surgeon in the area
For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF/J Plasma/Renuvion/InMode BodyTite and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Liposuction should not affect your tattoo I recommend an in-person consultation with a board certified PS to go over your options.

Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Liposuction on your arms should not affect your tattoo. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Thank you for your question. It is hard to tell how your tattoo would be affected without photos. Your best option would be to schedule a consultation with a Plastic Surgeon near you so they could do an exam. Good Luck.
Hi darling, thank you for your question.Depends on how much fat you want to get eliminated but most of the time the artwork done is affected in some way. It is better that you think it before getting any procedure done and keep in mind that it is likely for your tattoo to look different.Good luck!Dr. Jiménez Toribio Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.
Welcome to Realself! Thank you for your question★ It is a pleasure to answer your questions.Liposuction is usually not going to affect your Tattoo unless the skin of your arms lacks elasticity and is very redundant and saggy. Skin pigmentation after liposuction can change the skin color but it is not likely to affect Tattoo.Best wishes!James Watson, MDShonan Beauty ClinicBoard Certified in Plastic SurgeryUCLA Plastic Surgery Clinical FacultyStem Cell Research PioneerInternational LecturerExpert on Science of Aging
Hi Brr and thanks for that excellent question.Think of it this way. Lipo depends on fat and the overlying skin. The skin is every bit as important as the amount and distribution of the fat. If the skin lacks elasticity, is redundant and saggy, lipo will likely make that worse. Also, the more fat there is the smaller the final area will be, and with poor elasticity the skin will sag and the ink may become distorted. So if you have a small amount of fat and excellent skin elasticity, you should be fine. Be sure your experienced plastic surgeon lets you know about this prior to having the procedure.sek
Thank you for your question. Liposuction is not going to affect your Tattoo. If it is laser assisted Lipo sometimes can change the color but rare unless laser is too close to skin for prolonged time. Please consult with a board certified PS for evaluation.
Thank you for your question. The ideal liposuction candidate has localized fat deposits and quality overlying skin without significant excess skin or skin damage. Based on your photo you appear to be a good candidate for a Tummy tuck procedure. Tummy tuck, also know as abdominoplasty, is a p...
