Hi there and thanks for your question and answers! Unfortunately insurance does not cover liposuction despite your medical conditions. Liposuction is an elective cosmetic procedure to contour the body and remove stubborn fat. I suggest an in-person consultation with an experienced plastic surgeon for more information. Best of luck!
Insurance would not pay for liposuction nor it is the likely treatment for removing NAFLD stubborn belly fat. Non-surgical solution such as diets, exercise and changing lifestyle are recommended as first priority before considering other options.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
No, it is unlikely insurance will pay for liposuction. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF/J Plasma/Renuvion/InMode BodyTite and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Unfortunately, Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by insurance.Best of luck.Dr T
Regardless of medical condition, liposuction is not covered as a treatment modality. Additionally, if you have deep visceral fat, lipo may not be an option. To assess viability of any procedure, see a board certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your question.I would say no insurance will not cover liposuction for you the excess belly fat.Andre Levesque M.D.
Hi- Unfortunately I don’t see how insurance would pay for cosmetic liposuction. Insurance companies are ruining our health care system and continue to sell insanely high premium/deductible plans and provide less and less coverage.

Hello liposuction is a cosmetic procedures, therefor, is not covered by insurance. Good Luck
Liposuction will not be covered by your insurance. But "stubborn belly fat" is a term often used for internal fat, behind the muscles, and liposuction is of no help in that area. Liposuction is only possible on the fat you can gather up with your fingers in the superficial layers of the abdomen, just under the skin.
